Add a CommentSo far this book has been my favourite of Feist's books.
one of his best books, it may be his oldest but the book is very descripitive of MIdkemia and all the 3 books make a great story.
The beginning point for pretty much all of Feist's other books, this is an excellent (though extremely long) novel which sets the scene for all that is to come. While I didn't like this one as much as the later ones, it is still, in itself, an excellent story. Unfortunately, there are bits which become tedious, and it's not what I'd call a page-turner, despite the good writing.
