With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgment. but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Nora, a high school sophomore in a small town has always been quiet, catious. When Patch shows up in her lufe, things quickly change. Dealing with the undeniable attraction she doesn't want to exist, Nora finds herself doing things with Patch that she never thought she would do with anyone. seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide wheather she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel. For she is right in the middle of an ancient battl;e between the immortal and those who have fallen --and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life.
Fitzpatrick skillfully keeps readers on their toes with every turn of the page. She begins to feel an unexplainable attraction towards Patch. Is this the beginning of a fairytale romance or the start of a disaster?

“You smell good, too,” said Patch It’s called a shower.” I was staring straight ahead. When he didn’t answer, I turned sideways. “Soap. Shampoo. Hot water.” Naked. I know the drill.”
He waited a few counts before answering. His voice was low, emotions untraceable. "You know I'm hiding things." There was a question attached to it. I knew Patch lived a life of closed doors and harboured secrets. I wasn't presumptuous enough to think even half of them revolved around me. Patch lived a different life outside the one he shared with me. More than once I'd speculated what his other life might be like. I always got the feeling that the less I knew about it, the better.
Patch's eyes were black orbs. Taking in everything and giving away nothing. Not that I wanted to know more about Patch. Since I hadn't liked what I'd seen on the surface, I doubted I'd like what was lurking deep inside. Only this wasn't exactly true. I'd liked a lot of what I'd seen. Long, lean muscles down his arms, broad but relaxed shoulders, and a smile that was part playful, part seductive. I was in an uneasy alliance with myself, trying to ignore what had started to feel irresistible.

Omigosh!♥ I am in love with book!! ♥♥
this book was a total thriller! There were so many twists and turns and it was hard to put the book down. A great book that I would definitely purchase
Good read. I found it very similar to Twilight, except with "fallen angels" and not vampires. I enjoyed the romance. I keep wondering where were all the "Patch"es when I went to highschool. P.s. this was 100% times better than the "Fallen" series (which I didn't like at all)
one of the best books i have ever read, period. <3
I'm actually in love with this book :)
This sounds sooo interesting...Can't wait to read
