Summaries
Add a SummaryI loved The Dark Divine! I found it dark, mysterious and enthralling. Once I started reading it, I had a hard time putting it down. The author opened my eyes as to what it would be like to be a pastor's daughter and the constraints put on them. I have to admit, I went into this book not knowing what sort of paranormal twist it would have, and I liked not knowing...so i won't share that with you either so you can have the same experience. Daniel definitely filled the need for the dark, mysterious bad boy that has secrets galore, but he was also kind and thoughtful which rounded out his character nicely. I thought this book was well written and the characters nicely developed. I am not sure if there will be a sequel to this book or not, but I am praying there will be as I need to know what happens to Jude.
Quotes
Add a Quote“1). I wanted a normal family. With a Mother who put her child first, a a Father who was steady and kind and didn't make me tremble in my bed at night. I wanted a family like yours. I wanted to be Daniel Divine – by Daniel Kalbi 2). You can fight Grace, you can turn this curse into a blessing. You can become the hero. You can become truly divine – Daniel Kalbi to Grace Devine.”

Love this book! The second book was okay (it had a lot of twists in it so yeah..) , but i love this first book more.
Great book!
Quite good. But not necessarily the best book ever. Lacked detailed description. Second book was better.
Love it! Totally awesome! Can't wait for the third book!
I loved this book! It was a refreshing book that always left me hanging for more. There were a lot of unexpected moments in here that had caught me off guard and made the book that much better.
this book is on my favorites list. i finished reading all 372 pages of it within a day and a half. for me that's a good amount of time. i just had to know what happened! it is full of mystery, complicated romance, a bad boy and dark secrets. It was the best book i've read in a long time. i like reading and writing but can't believe the talent you'd need to wright a book worth 5 stars. i want to read it again and can't wait till i get to read the second book! i hope you enjoy this book as much as i did...
I really loved this book. I couldn't put it down till I finished it. I hope there's going to be a 2nd book.
I really enjoyed The Dark Divine, it was a good solid read, captivating, well written and the characters were nicely developed. I read it in two days, I just couldn't put it down. I pray there is a book two to find out what happens to Jude and how the Divine family survives.
