… More »Ash, former prince of the Winter Court, gave up everything. His title, his home, even his vow of loyalty all for a girl. And all for nothing...unless he can earn a soul. To the cold, emotionless faery prince, love was a weakness for mortals and fools. His own love had died a horrible death, killing any gentler feelings the Winter prince might have had. Or so he thought... Then Meghan Chase half human, half fey smashed through his barricades, binding him to her irrevocably with his oath to be her knight. But Meghan is now the Iron Queen, ruler of a realm where no Winter or Summer fey can survive. With the (unwelcome) company of his archrival, Summer Court prankster Puck, and the infuriating cait sith Grimalkin, Ash begins a quest to find a way to honour his solemn vow to stand by Meghan's side. Then Ash learns something that changes everything. A truth that turns reality upside down, challenges his darkest beliefs and shows him that, sometimes, it takes more than courage to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Summaries
Add a SummaryThere were so many incredible "I did NOT see that coming!" twists, that were here. I will say that is was wonamazing. I was wonderful to read a story from Ash's perspective. The unseelie prince has a lot more depth that you realize from the previous books. Watching him struggle to make hard decisions, and seeing just how much he loves Megan made me root for him all the more. And Puck, ever the joke cracking prankster showed a bit of vulnerability as well. This was a great end to the Iron Fey Series. Reading the last page will leave you sad that there will be no more adventures, but it will also leave you at peace that you know how everything turns out.

Add a Commentit was really slow at first but when he got to the testing grounds it got really good.
Not as good as the rest in the series. This story centers on Ash and his quest, and it really misses having Meghan Chase.
i love this book i could not put it down for one second. the book was sad at the end. can't wait to read the lost prince.
Amazing continuation! I loved that it was from Ash's point of view, it made him seem more real and made me love him even more. There were so many twist and turns It made this book spectacular! I can't wait to read The Lost Prince!
This is the best series i have ever read! This book was sad at some parts, but i really enjoyed it! I wan't more! I'm looking forward to reading The Lost Prince. Thank you Julie Kagawa for this wonderful series! c:
i really have to say that this book was disapointing, as much as i LOVED this series i found this one a bit of a dissapointment. i couldnt believe how it was ended. it was really good though, leading up to the end!
You guys are welcome for the book. I am the one that donated :)
This was personally my favourite book in the series. I much preferred the characters of Ash and Puck to that of Megan. I found this book more fun than the others.
I was in love with the Iron fey series until this book. I love Ash's character and how he was so 'mysterious'. The book was great but left the cliff hanger of Goodfellow, which in fact is very disappointing.
most recommended im speechless it's the best book and love the ending but i wish it can continue their journey farther towards something new
