And now they're all about to get married...But in the midst of her dream wedding preparations Bel discovers that her fiance Richard has been cheating with her cousin-bridesmaid. After wreaking a humiliating revenge at her wedding she runs off to the remote holiday cottage her father owns, only to find that she has inherited a neighbour - writer Dan Regent - who is as disenchanted with women as she is with men. Ice-cream parlour owner Violet is engaged to her childhood sweetheart Glyn. But over the years they have both changed so much and because Glyn is prone to depression and so obsessively in love with her, Violet just can't say the words 'I don't want to marry you anymore.' Then she employs a young Polish man to decorate her cafe and discovers exactly what true love feels like. Max and Stuart are planning a small, quick registry office do. Then Max sees a TV programme about traveller brides and is determined to have a wedding more extravagant and huge than the flashiest Gypsy wedding in history. But does having the big dress and cake become more important than marrying the actual groom? All three friends women find the dress of their dreams at the White Wedding bridal shop owned by the lovely Freya, who guarantees that her gowns will bring happiness to them - but maybe not quite in the way they expected. As Freya herself knows, because the magic started many years ago with her own dress...
