this book was alright, but sometimes it is really confusing. i kept expecting things they talked about (like stuff in the future/wherever they are) to be explained later, but they never were.

Incarnate is an exciting debut by author Jodi Meadows! Incarnate is set in Range, a world where the same souls are reincarnated over and over again. Ana, our main character, is the first new soul to be born-EVER. This interesting premise leads us and Ana on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. The imagery of Meadows' words captivated me. I felt the chills of winter as Ana trudged through the snow to get to the city of Heart. I felt disturbed by the unnaturalness of the city's walls when Ana touched them for the first time. I kept turning the pages to know what happened next. A certain fervor builds up as you progress through the novel, an ache that echoes Ana's yearn to find out the truth. I'm not giving away any spoilers so you'll have to check out Incarnate for yourself but I will say it does not disappoint!
