Add a CommentI agree. Patricia Wrede is an awesome writer. I really liked how this book is in the course of years, both mundane (or as mundane as Eff's life can be) or not for the main character. The whole expedition itself was very, very entertaining and it was all writen expertly. I think that, yeah, it is a great ending for this trilogy. I loved the world and the great idea of the west, unexplored; dangerous; and impossible to forget. Eff's marrage was slightly sudden if you did not read the first books, and I think that could have been slightly better, but all in all this book made me feel like I was there and all the feelings Eff felt towards things also made her an interesting person with a point of view.
Though not quite so engrossing as the first two, it is an interesting conclusion, with a steady build up.
I loved this book! This book was a great ending to the Frontier Magic Trilogy. The book had a great plot line that grabbed my attention and kept me intrigued throughout the book. I also loved watching all the interactions between all the characters as well as seeing how everything turns out.
