Twilit
Annotation:Also a tv series, these volumes have been re-published from the early nineties. The story may be dated but all the vampire tricks are here.
Annotation:Not specifically about vampires but it does have a unique coverage of demons djinns and everything in between. With a sassy heroinne and a kick ass bad boy, this one is perhaps more suitable for adults.
Annotation:Christine Feehan owns the paranormal romance genre, re-creating the classic vampire myth with a twist.
Annotation:Vampires and cops in a modern New York. Hmm sultry.
Annotation:The mordern Faerie World and sit's right under our noses! What would you do if a faerie prince was relying on your love to save his bacon? And his kingdom? But all you really want is the tattoed bad boy who believes you when you say you see faeries.
Annotation:An immensely popular teen interpretation of vampire fiction. Vampires and high school!
Annotation:A brilliant tv series with a killer intro, this show was adapted from a series of books by Charlaine Harris but it has turned a rather trite vampire murder mystery into clever, insightful pop culture.
Annotation:A much more sedate and considered look at the vampire myth. It takes the mystery of Dracula and develops it into a highly intelligent and intriguing book.
Annotation:Team Jacob look this way! Werewolves are the feature of this book and it is nicely written, sweet story about a small town with a small mind. And two teenagers destined to be together.
Annotation:My fav in the vampire genre. This is so much better than Twilight. Action, adventure, romance and mystery oh and a seriously handsome, old, old, old vamp with a predilection for a certain slayer...
Annotation:Is she insane or is there something from the past directing her every move. An interesting and mysterious book that manages to segue between past and present with ease.
