Family Games Night with Ben McKenzie

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Join us for a virtual Family Games Night with games host extraordinaire Ben McKenzie. Learn how to play new games, and have fun online with Ben. There will be three sessions across the evening and you are free to book in for whichever session most interests you - and more than one if you wish.

Session 1The Wide(r) World of Tabletop Games

Ben will give you some tips on how to explore beyond the old family staples of Monopoly and Cluedo, including how to choose a new game; some specific games that are good for beginners; how to make learning and teaching the rules easier and more fun; and a few ways you can play tabletop games online so you can include the whole family!

Session 2Play Along - Forbidden Island

Forbidden Island is a collaborative game in which everyone wins or loses together. Can you collect all four treasures and get back to the helicopter before the island sinks under the waves forever?

Session 3Play Along - Codenames

Codenames is a modern classic party game in which two teams send and receive secret information right under the noses of the other team. But you don’t have to learn any codes - it’s all about word association...

Please click on the links above to book in for each session.

The Family Games Night is run in partnership with Banyule Council.
