The ninth book of the Greek Gods Series is excellent. We love that R.R made this series, hope that more come after he finished the Norse Myths.

This book is another great example of Rick Riordan's amazing writing skills. Packed with adventure, suspense and sadness, it is an incredible book. It's a great continuation of the 'Heros of Olympus" series and incorporates plenty of Greek mythology. This book fails to disappoint, and I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an exciting new read!

I would have given 5 star if Nico wasn't gay. It was shocking that Nico had crush on Percy. Nothing against gays, but kinda dissapointing.
Recommend it.

Um.... So this was..... Um..... The book.....
Allow me one thing, please.
Mr. Riordan:
WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE NICO GAY?????????????????????
I have nothing against gays, BUT WHY????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The best part of this whole book was Percabeth and Bob and Caleo. And Jasper. AND THAT'S IT. Ok, and maybe all the near-death-percy-oh-my-gods-why-are-you-such-a-seaweed-brain stuff, but THAT'S IT.
Stop at the Last Olympian. It's not as hard on fangirls.
Oh, and I ship Reynico, and I'm proud of it.

The House of Hades by Rick Riordan is an absolutely amazing novel. The story is full of sorrow, heartbreak, loyalty and sacrifice. You get caught up in all of the battles and lose track of time when reading. From beginning to end and everything in-between you will fall in love with it. The two main characters/protagonists in this book are Percy and Annabeth and their relationship in this novel is extraordinary. The underlying message behind this book is teamwork. If each character did not have each other they would have been lost.

“I figure the world is basically a machine. I don't know who made it, if it was the Fates, or the gods, or the capital-G god or whatever. But it chugs along the way it's supposed to most of the time. Sure, little pieces break off and stuff goes haywire once in a while, but mostly... things happen for a reason.”

Other: I love how everyone mentions *spoilers* that Nico is gay, but dosn't mention any of the other relationships in the book that go way further that whatever *more spoilers* that weird thing with cupid was. odd, odd scene. Also, it felt thrown in. Like, from a story standpoint it did nothing. and now i'm on a rant so I will leave.
