This is not a CD, so some of the comments here are misplaced. This is tabbed printed music, and very poorly done. In many cases it's not even what was played, but a different arrangement of chords. For instance, David Crosby's Guinevere is played in an alternative tuning on the album - but here the guitar arrangement is simplified to a point that just not the same song as Crosby wrote.
You're much better off searching the internet for chords than looking at this book. Very disappointing, as I've seen books that are note for note transcriptions for CSNY (Best of Crosby, Stills & Nash (Recorded Versions Guitar).
Obviously the book buyer for our library is not a musician.
Some great songs here masterfully done.
Folk, easy listening, pop or classic rock. No matter what you called it, a suite of harmonious meaningful tunes from the musicians who were young then. For comparison in digitized versions, try "Déjà Vu" which has majority of the hits from this album and a few more.
CD is OK, but it's poorly mastered and some of their greatest hits are missing. Also, I only can take so much 3 part singing in tight thirds. It gets quite tiresome by the end of the set.
