I enjoyed this story of Marius and Pandora but I wish it would have revealed what happened to her after their separation. Who was Arjun (from “Vampire Chronicles”) and why did he have such a strong hold on her? Also, whatever happened to Flavius?

This is an easier Anne Rice read. It for the most part can stand alone, but is much easier to understand if you have recently read the Vampire Chronicle books, as they are referenced a few times throughout this story.
