Situated between Walhalla and Wood's Point in North Gippsland lies Jordan Goldfields on the Jordan River. Included is the history of the old gold towns of Jericho, Red Jacket, Blue Jacket, Violet Town, Dry Creek, Victor's Quartz, B.B. Creek, Loch Fyne and environs. It also catalogues the life and times of the miners and townspeople, the Chinese, churches and schools, police, criminal activity, mining and tracks. Finally the cemetries, the last resting place of many former pioneers and mining identities.
