If you have ever wondered what Saturday morning, 1950's TV was like for the rambunctious rugrat set - Then - "Hiya, Kids!!" is a jam-packed, 4-disc collection that offers the inquisitive viewer of today a nostalgically wholesome look back at television's formative years when this medium was still, very much, struggling through its infancy.

Out of this varied selection of 21, half-hour TV episodes - It's actually quite surprising (at least to me) to see that (amongst all of the puppet shows, and all of the "happy-face" clown programs, and all of the live-action/adventure productions) there were no cartoons, whatsoever, for the kiddies to watch. (Yes. Very strange. Indeed)

Personally - As an adult - I found most of these 21, b&w TV programs to be quite amateurish in nature. And they were also of an obviously low-budget status, as well.

Anyway - In my opinion - The 4 stand-outs of these 21 television shows were - Annie Oakley, Sky King, The Roy Rogers Show, and, especially, Sheena, Queen of the Jungle (which, to me, was an absolute scream of unintentional humour and outrageously tongue-in-cheek camp).
