He calls to his wife and children who, one by one, climb the tree to listen and be consoled. When they finally accept their loss the tree takes up a life on its own. Examines themes of love, loss and family ties. Author worked for many years as an acrobat in 'Circus Oz' before becoming a stand-up comedienne.
