Before she could strike, the intruder hurled something at her. Automatically, she turned her head aside and held her arms up for protection. It hit her forearm, then clattered to the floor. Ouch. A metal trowel. He scrambled to his feet and bolted for the door. Jesse dived forward and tackled his legs. He fell, kicked madly. One foot caught her on the side of the face ... Jesse Sharpe, child prodigy and secret agent, is assigned to infiltrate a camp for children and locate two targets. One is a C2 agent working undercover. The other is 'a child with unusual skills' who has been placed at the camp by a vicious group called Nimbus. That child is some kind of threat. But information is scarce. The threat turns out to be larger and more terrifying than anyone has imagined.
