I adore this series. Two stories are presented, the mice and their adventures as well as the humans and their story. The children have lost their mother and the mice decide to take care of them by darning their socks and other such tasks that their preoccupied inventor father does not do for them. It is great fun and I like to read it with different voices for each character to my daughter. Perfect for ages 6-10 boy or girl.

Such a cute story. A must for anyone who loves animals! I enjoyed reading this one to my 7 yr old son at bedtime.

A absolutely delightful series of books which follows the stories of mice and humans. Well written and wonderful to read aloud. More complex than many stories for children, but only in a good way. My 8 year old and I look forward to reading each book in this series.

This is a lovely English story about two mice and their adventures. The description is robust and the language rich. A very well written book with delightful characters and an exciting story. A breath of fresh air in this time of formulaic fiction.
