Speed run by a Leopard tank in an area that in the 1850s was the Bakewell brothers' "Plenty Station" at the 1982 army display at Watsonia barracks. This was an annual event with static displays, mock battles and parachute drops. In 1986 Watsonia barracks was renamed Simpson barracks after Major General Colin Simpson.
