Photograph of painting of Flintoff's Hill, Greensborough. Looking north east from Watsonia Road, towards the Civic Centre. Crops of hay are growing at Apollo Parkways. The hill was occupied by the Black family, whose home site in now alongside the western boundary of Apollo Parkways Primary School. A surviving olive tree (1980) remains on the site. The Brown family owned land to the left of this painting up to Makea Street. The original painting is owned (1980) by Mrs Shirley Fraser, nee Black of Watsonia. It was painted by an itinerant worker between about 1900 and 1910. There is alternative opinion that this is not on the western boundary of Apollo Parkways.
