School secretary Jeanne Cross is an ordinary wife and mother with a seemingly perfect life when Ali Mather, the new music teacher, arrives on the scene. Ali is everything Jeanne isn't: flamboyant, reckless and sexy, with a habit of breaking rules and hearts wherever she goes. Despite their differences, the women are drawn to each other and an unlikely friendship develops. But beneath the surface, both of them are troubled. For Ali, it is the suspicion that someone has been breaking into her house - not to steal, but to terrify her. For Jeanne, there are secrets too dark and too brutal to face alone; secrets that will be dragged into the light with devastating results for her family and her friend.

Though the plot has a few interesting turns, this book is filled with cliched dialogue (both internal and external) and undeveloped characters. I cannot recommend it!
