Situated at the northern end of Bundoora Park in Plenty Road, Bundoora, Mt Cooper is an extinct volcano,one of three in the region. It's elevation is 136 metres and is the highest point in the metro area. Mt Cooper is named after Horatio Cooper (1806-1864) a district pioneer who came to the area in 1837.
