A lot of this story is told with pictures that my almost-4yo had a little trouble understanding, but after getting through it once she wanted to read it over and over. It is a good story and I even find myself wishing I could move into the hut by the sea (and eat fondue).

Sometimes it takes a stranger to make good friends realize they could be doing better by each other. The layout of the illustrations adds to the story quite well.
