This is the first one of her books I've read. Perhaps not one of her best?

Unless you want to read about the history of New York City and Gracie mansion, I'd give it a pass. gave up after 250 pgs (with an other 180 to go).

As usual, Linda Fairstein has written an intricate, absorbing mystery that keeps you guessing to the last minute. It's always nice to visit familiar characters, and they're all there.
