Very funny book! My kids thought it was hilarious and I could tolerate the silliness. The first one was better but this is a good follow up!

The first one is better, but this is still a good read

I could not stop laughing at this. It throws together so many warped allusions to Twilight, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Oz, Shakespeare, Harry Potter...and the illustrations are crazy good. Like seriously. Chris Riddell wields a pen better than any ninja could wield a nunchuk.
