No one likes to come home to a mess, least of all Adrian Monk and Natalie. But when they return to San Francisco from an extended stay working as cops in New Jersey, Natalie discovers somebody has been sleeping in her bed. But they're not asleep, she is dead. If that isn't bad enough, investigators find marked money from a Federal sting operation stuffed under Natalie's mattress. Now her life is a real mess and she needs Monk's help to clean it up.

Classic Monk-nice to see him live on in books. Miss the tv series.

Mr.Monk is a Mess is a comical and thrilling book. Lee Goldberg has perfectly portrayed Adrian Monk and has created brilliant crime scenes that keep us thinking of a logical solution. As we travel with the narrator; monk's assistant (*spoiler alert* former assistant later on in the book) Natalie who deals with Monk's superstitious, oblivious and often obnoxious personality you will see these crimes through her eyes and heart. You will defianitly enjoy your time with the neat freak; Monk and the couragess and enchanting; Natalie. A must read for those looking for stumping mysteries. I also suggest that you watch the TV series. Hope you enjoy the book ;)
