April, 1912. Evil German financier Gunther Voss has a plan to bring the U.S. into what will be a devastating war against Britain. It falls to the unlikely collaboration between Alex Tremayne of Britain's Secret Service Bureau and a pioneering female agent, Maria Weston with the U.S.'s Bureau of Investigation, to stop him and his cohorts, who are about to put the final pieces of their plot together as they cross the Atlantic in style. Little do they know that the maiden voyage of the largest passenger steamship in the world will be its first and last.

Titanic --- by Jack Steel. Straight forward, uncomplicated, with lots of action and suspense. The "description" on the Item Details tells you all you need to know about the story line. This book was fun to read.
