Maxine's parents have had to do perhaps the worst possible thing: confirm the identity of her brother Derek's body by the clothes he was wearing when he disappeared. So the brother who was missing is now officially dead. But then the worst possible thing really happens: Maxine receives a telephone call from somebody saying he is her brother. Great book. Honestly the ending surprised me more than I had expected. Well written story.

This book correctly potrays the effects that can come of bulliying and trhe person getting bullied has no one to talk to. I think people should read this book and learn to listen and watch for signs as was shown in the story. Things like that happen all the time and I'm glad an author such as Catherine MacPhail was able to publish something like this.
