An excellent look at a microcosm of the 8th Air Force Bomber Command's role in World War II. However, the book bills itself as the story of a particular crew and their unique story, this book does disappear down several different rabbit holes, departing from the primary narrative to take up other secondary and tertiary narratives before returning to the main story.
