For fans of E. L. James and Sylvia Day. Before there was the fan fiction that became Fifty Shades of Grey , there was The Submissive , Tara Sue Me's seductive and scandalous series that enthralled millions and inspired a genre... In the enticing continuation, the submissive and her dominant explore just how long they can make the pleasure last...

It started with a hidden desire. Millionaire CEO Nathaniel West has always played by his own strict set of rules, ones he expects everyone to follow - especially the women he's dominated in his bedroom. But his newest lover is breaking down all his boundaries and rewriting his rule book. Abby King never imagined that she would capture the heart of Nathaniel West, one of New York City's most eligible bachelors - and its most desirable dominant. What began as a weekend arrangement of pleasure has become a passionate romance with a man who knows every inch of her body and her soul - yet remains an enigmatic lover. Though he is tender and caring, his painful past remains a wall between them. Abby knows the only way to truly earn his trust is to submit to him fully and let go of all of her lingering inhibitions. Because to lead Nathaniel on a path to greater intimacy, she must first let him deeper into her world than anyone has ever gone before...

Before there was the fan fiction that became Fifty Shades of Grey , there was The Submissive... Indulge in the series that started it all: The Submissive, The Dominant, The Training , The Chalet, T he Enticement, The Collar, The Exhibitionist and The Master .

This was a tough read..and very confusing. You had to make sure who was writing the chapter..a few times I had to go back and find out whos side was giving their thoughts...overall I enjoyed the first book , but didnt like the other 2 books.

Wonderful ending to this trilogy!

A satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Eroticism blended with the discovery of romanticism- the characters come full circle.

So I finally finished reading The Training and it was not as quick of a read as the Submissive. It took you further down the road of Abby and Nathaniel relationship where they are still working out the quirks but further solidifying there roles as dom and submissive roles. Its an interesting story but I did not feel as though it was a quick read.

Interesting book that offers a glimpse into a relationship world that for many people would otherwise have gone unknown. I did enjoy the read however, expected a little more excitement in the storyline other then just exploring the relationship between the two main characters.
Ironically as the books title suggests and unlike the first two books in this series, this book felt like a relationship guide rather then a fictional story.
I would highly recommend this trilogy to anyone wanting to research or learn more about Dom and Sub relationships, but not so much if you are looking for a good story.
