Perhaps the movie is better than the book; this was a disappointing read. Amadeus' sister, who is an accomplished pianist, comes to Vienna hoping to review rumors that her brother was murdered, poisoned because of political intrigue connected to the Masons.

I have always loved Mozart's music, so when I noticed this unassuming paperback book, with a beautiful cover on the cart, I was immediately curious. I was so moved to feel myself in Vienna with Nannerl as the plot unfolds. The story is written intriguingly and suspenseful. A deep love and longing revealed for Wolfgang, and his music, by his sister Nannerl and friends is compelling and touching. The writing style and composition is very good with an excellent flow.
