Lately, I felt like Scott's books weren't up to her usual standards, but maybe it's because she's experimenting with all these different ideas. But this one I actually liked better than the newer ones, like As I Wake, Between Here and Forever, and Bloom. I like the whole concept, and it was gripping to be in a mind of someone who's probably suffering from PTSD and yet no one seems to understand or notice. And Joe...he was a big reason as to why I liked this book better than the books mentioned above...;) But of course, I still miss her old ideas when it was mostly just realistic fiction and romance. She's still as talented and poetic as ever.

This is a psychological book with importance for anyone suffering from PTSD or other emotional issues. It held my attention even though there actually isn't much PLOT.

Really good story with the main character Megan as she struggles to find herself.
