Tomoko Kuroki naturally assumed she'd be popular when she got to high school-- but then cold, hard reality swooped in for the attack! Turns out all the popularity points she'd racked up in her video game dating sims are worth squat in real life, and Tomoko's far from prepared to navigate high school! How can she possibly hope to impress her classmates when she can't even talk to them? A new high-school heroine is born (maybe?).

Sorry, I know it's supposed to be a comedy, but I strongly dislike misunderstandings, misadventures, and rotten personalities. This one is not for me. But for those who do like that sort of thing, This series could be a real hoot. The art style matches the mood and the genre.

I really wanted to like this series...but I couldn't even get past the second volume. She grosses me out and seems really nasty and rude...I just can't stand her. I thought it was going to be enjoyable but I'm bothered by far too many things to like it.

The hilarious misadventures of a complete social reject. Go on a journey with tomoko as she endeavours to become the social butterfly she dreams to be. You will find yourself laughing hysterically and both pitying such a dysfunctional person. Absolute must read.

Tomoko Kuroki is a very introverted girl as she tries many different schemes to become popular. Very entertaining yet facepalmingly sad at the same time. It's a comedy that I would recomend
