For Lucy Larson and Jude Ryder, love might be the thing that just isn't enough. The only easy thing about Jude and Lucy's relationship is their love for one another. Everything else is hard. Especially when it comes to reining in Jude's trigger touch temper and Lucy's increasing jealousy of the female attention that Jude attracts. Feeling the stress of trying to hang on to her quintessential bad boy while becoming the foremost dancer in her class, Lucy knows something's going to break. She wants both. She needs both. But if she doesn't make a choice, she risks losing everything.

1 Star (maybe?)

I read Crash (Book 1) almost three years ago and although I don't remember every little detail, I do remember moderately liking it as a young adult novel (3.5-4 Stars.) So, I finally picked up the second book and now I'm wondering why it was even written. From what I understand it was written in response to reader love of the first book. For the first 2/3 of the book it was simply a back and forth drama-fest. Unnecessary and ill-conceived drama, at that. I was resigned in knowing that this book was not going to be a 5 star winner for me, but it still had time to regain some of my respect. THEN I reached chapters 15-16. What the what?! MAJOR Jump-the-Shark moment. Where there was still time to redeem a lackluster story, chapters 15-16 shot it clear out to the land of no return. I'm able to suspend reality a tad, because (come on) I'm a romance reader, but this was too much. None of what happened in those chapters could I EVER see happening in real life. It was just too absurd. On top of that, Jude became someone else compared to the first book. Now, I can see love changing a man, but Jude became certifiable. Had I not been two chapters away from the end, I would have folded. I can't even bring myself to imagine reading the third book.
