The Perfectionists
Book - 2014
In Beacon Heights High, Nolan Hotchkiss is king. His charm, wealth and good looks are deceptively seductive, and many are the students whose lives and reputations have been ruined by it. All while Nolan continues to reign, unquestioned and undisrupted. Until now, that is.Mackenzie, Ava, Julie, Caitlin and Parker seemingly don't have much in common. Each has their own friends, dramas and goals. But one thing they do share: they all have a deep hatred of Nolan Hotchkiss. And they all think it's about time he paid for what he's done. They come up with the perfect murder - a hypothetical murder, of course. It's all wishful thinking...until they wake up one morning to find that their wish has come true. Nolan has been killed - in exactly the way they planned. The thing is, they didn't do it. So who did?

Add a CommentGreat book especially after being a PLL fan I am really excited to finish this series and see the show on freeform come out!
Honestly the best book ever!!!!!
This book is amazing, and it is super suspenseful.
I guess this is similar to pretty little liars, but it is also entirely different and on its own. Five girls who all hate this one boy... one day find out that he is dead. Like... actually dead. He can no longer torment any of them. But what if they hadn't ever imagined this to happen? Intended this to happen? Could they have done something to result in his death. As the prime suspects, each girl must face her own demons, while trying to uncover the truth behind the tragedy that left them all shocked. Overall, it was pretty great. I still liked this author's The Lying Game Series better, but it is still worth a read! 5/5 stars

Another good book from Sara Shepard. Action and drama packed. I was always interested!
This book is so good!!! Do not let the similar sounding plot to PLL fool you. I read this book in one day staying up extremely late to finish it because I could not put it down. Waiting for Good Girls is going to be painfully long because I need to know what happens next.
I read this book when it just came out, I wasn't expecting much from it because the plot sounded so much like PLL (which I love, but thought it would get a bit repetitive). Well, I was blown away, Sara Shepard still managed to amaze me!
Does anyone know any other books like this other than Sara Shepard books?
This book was very engaging and had lots of twists while still holding true to the high school drama that Shepard portrays in PLL and The Lying Game. It leaves you waiting anxiously to read the next installment.
At first I thought that having to follow the story lines of five protagonists would be a bit confusing, but Shepard gives each character such a distinctive personality, making the plot rich and enthralling. I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the sequel!
Sara Shepard never lets me down. This was another unputdown-able read. The PLL series, The Lying Game series and this series are 3 of my all-time favourite series ever! I cant wait to get Good Girls :)))
