If you loved the movie "The Princess Bride", it is 'inconceivable' that you won't love this book. It gives you a very candid behind the scenes of the making of the cult movie. A great read and an insight into what really goes on when a movie is being made.

If you loved the movie, then you will adore these tales from cast and crew on how "The Princess Bride" all came together to become an enduring family classic. Swordfights, giants, revenge, true's all here, so have fun storming the castle again. — Stella R., Maple Grove Library

I can HIGHLY recommend the downloadable audiobook of As You Wish... Read by Cary Elwes and the cast of Princess Bride, it is an enchanting retelling of the making of the cult classic.

I rarely listen to non-fiction works, but this cast and the telling of the story make As You Wish... a real treat.

Enjoyable, charming memoir of the making of the beloved 1987 film "The Princess Bride." Cary Elwes, who played Westley, knows what the people want and he delivers. Elwes is a gracious narrator and has nothing but praise for the cast and crew. You learn how much time they put into the duel and that Andre the Giant was French and was driven to school by Samuel Beckett (!!!). A must for every fan of the movie.

Every fan of The Princess Bride wanted a book like this, whether they admitted it or not, so Cary said "As you wish" and here it is! Inconceivable? No way. Providing both heartfelt and hilarious backstories and behind the scenes information to the making of The Princess Bride (and Cary's own personal journey throughout the film), this title is definitely a worthy companion to the library of anyone who loves the Princess Bride. I enjoyed it!

I LOVED this book, and will recommend it to all that love the movie. This book is so special to me - as I fell ill & my husband read it aloud to me. I didn't think he would care for it, but he couldn't put it down! We truly bonded over the heartwarming stories Cary shares. After having Cary's insight on a grandfather reading to his ill grandchild (as is the stage for the book and the movie) it just seemed we could appreciate, even more, the sentiment involved in Cary's words. A must read for anyone who loves the movie!
