This book is one of the most perfectly paced books I have ever read. The first chapter was boring and I thought "What the heck!" Then I read the second chapter, which was a little better, then the next, and the next. By the time I got to the heist I could not read fast enough. Lynda La Plante writes some of the most engrossing mysteries that have ever been written.
