This was everything I wanted to read today, being sick on the couch for most of it.

- Regency. Although the only reference to it is basically the Bath pump rooms and Beau Brummell. I felt like a little more historical detail would have been nice.
- Handsome gentleman. Cravats and waistcoats ftw.
- Independent heroine who likes to twirl and ride horses. She could be slightly annoying. And dumb. For not realizing she liked the guy until pretty much the end. Or for not realizing he liked her when everyone and their dog told her he did.
- Clean romance. Well, except for the part where he slams her into the bookshelf in three seconds. I didn't think he needed to do it quite that hard. Keep your passions in check for her first kiss, man.

Still, I'm giving it almost 5 stars because I enjoyed it a lot. I grinned and laughed out loud while reading it. And I read it in one day because it was hard to put down, so that's saying something.

Recommended for people who like to read a cute Regency romance, but don't expect it to be Georgette Heyer.

This book was highly recommended to me. I have to say that it is one of the most badly written books I've picked up in a long while. It may well be a great story but stories have to be told, in this case written. I couldn't get past the first three paragraphs, not even onto the second page. If I could give negative stars, I would.

LOVED this book. Listened to it on a 14 hr road trip and it kept us very awake and entertained. So cute, going to read it next :)

I read this one in one day and then the next day I picked it up "just to read my favorite parts again" but ended up rereading it entirely. I really loved it! It isn't Jane Austen but I so nice to read a clean fun romance!
