A wonderful book; Cultured food for Health by Donna Schwenk. Donna writes of her own and her daughter’s healing story by using , ”The Trilogy” of fermented foods; keffir, kombucha and fermented vegetables in their daily diet. She also talks about prebiotics – foods that feed the helper gut bugs that you are advised to include a lot of in your diet. There is a lot of information on what they are, how to use them with recipes and a lot of information on many conditions and illnesses that these may help with, and how they may be helping with recovery...
