I love the horror genre. I love reading horror books and watching horror movies and tv shows. When I picked up this book, I really liked it. It was thrilling and it left you in suspense at times. In the book, Sophie’s friend Jay drowns the night they play with the ouija board, and so Sophie has to go to her cousins' house in Skye while her parents go on vacation. There’s brooding Cameron, perky Piper, and Lilias, who is scared of bones. They had one other daughter Rebecca who died when she was seven years old. Sophie encounters mysterious things going on in the house and there's creepy dolls involved. There’s a really good moral of the story which explains that anybody could be two-faced. They may be nice to you on the outside, but they could be plotting against you on the inside. It was very thrilling and there were some plot twists. I really liked this book and I recommend it to anyone who likes reading the horror genre. 5/5 stars.

A truly creepy, suspenseful read. It drew me in from the very beginning and never let me go. And when I finished it, I had to watch an animated movie to settle myself down so I wouldn't see scary dolls in my dreams...
