As with all of Solnit's books, a journey of the wanderer. Fellow wanderers will enjoy it. Solnit echoes Tolkein in that "not all who wander are lost". And, that sometimes, getting lost is the most important part of the journey.

Beautiful prose... Solnit's use of the English language is a treat, and allows the reader to visualize the places of the book, and the places in our lives.
