A sparkling new romantic comedy from the acclaimed author of Amanda's Wedding. Holly is a frustrated florist whose life doesn't exactly seem to be coming up roses. Fleeing the houseshare from hell, she moves in with Josh, a sexually confused merchant banker; Kate, a high-flying legal eagle with talons to match, and the gorgeous Addison, who spends his days communicating only with his computer and those who worship at the altar of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Holly's desperate to have a one-to-one with Addison, but can she drag him away from his monstrously ugly, not to say jealous internet 'girlfriend' Claudia, or will they just continually get their wires crossed?

Add a CommentHolly, a 28 year old single women living in English is barely making ends meet working in a flower shop. She decides to move into an apartment with her two former classmates and friends from college, as well as a stranger known as Addison. This strange, unknown person monotonously typing on his computer at all times seems quite interesting to Holly. Finally, one day Holly gets the nerve to introduce herself to Addison. Addison, as it turns out, while is a complete nerd is GORGEOUS.
So of course now, holly's character is set on getting with Addison, but will that be possible? Is Addison too much of a space alien? This is quite an unconventional love story that while is just fictional is relate able in many
ways to real people.
This book had me laughing quite a bit, i enjoyed Colgan's humor she is hilarious, and managed to keep me interested. If you are looking for a not so stereotypical love story, I would recommend this!
