It was interesting. I feel like, just as I was starting to get used to Peter Capaldi, he will leave. Overall, it was a good series, bit predictable, but has good actors and had interesting plot lines for the episodes.
Enjoyable for characters, writing and situations; resolution still unsatisfying for most episodes.
Didn't get time to watch the DVD, but have been watching on TV. Good season (or as the Brits call them, Series), with new companion Bill Potts (played by Pearl Mackie) and companion from the two previous Christmas Specials, Nardole (played by Matt Lucas). Decent stories this season (though the best in my opinion are in the second half), we get a more traditional season closer to the RTD era or Series 5 than the more recent seasons. Worth it for hardcore fans or fans of Capaldi's Doctor. Casual fans may want to give it a try but it may not be for them.
