If you want a good laugh pick this book up. This monster ate his only friend and is having and understandably difficult finding a new one. The illustrations are very cute and quirky too.

My 4 year old loved this book. The story is concise with simple sentences but highly entertaining, she memorized it and read it to me!

So weird and funny and just a little bit scary. I loved it!

This simple story is a great choice for readers who enjoyed This Is Not My Hat. A monster has eaten his friend, and is now facing the consequences of that decision while looking for a new friend. This is a simple story with fun high-contrast art that could start a conversation about how we treat our friends, and why it is important with young children.

Where did my friend go? Why won't they be my friend? What's going to happen next? A wonderful opportunity for telling your own story.
