When the ball rolls into the doghouse, who will be brave enough to go get it? Great for reading aloud.

Jan Thomas is great! My six year old read this book to me - it was a wonderful experience. He would finish reading a page and then laugh and laugh and laugh - especially when we got to the "Pig is stinky" part. What a positive experience with shared reading : )

Outstanding! My 4 year old loves this book. He wants to read it by himself (even though he has not learned to read yet.)

It's a kid's mystery book. Fun!

Return to the world of Mouse, Pig, Cow and Duck with this wacky tale of what happens when their ball rolls into a dog house. Friend, after friend goes into retrieve it, but doesn't come out. While this sounds like a highly inappropriate preschool horror tale, it has a typical Jan Thomas ending and is infused with her trademark humour.

Delightful! Keeps kids riveted and wanting to know what will happen to cow, pig, duck and mouse. Adults will get a laugh out of it as well.
