Mercy is on a school bus bound for Paradise, a small town where everyone knows everyone else's business -- or thinks they do. But they will never guess the secret Mercy is hiding. As an angel exiled from heaven and doomed to return repeatedly to Earth, Mercy is never sure whose life and body she will share each time. And her mind is filled with the desperate pleas of her beloved, Luc, who can only approach her in her dreams. In Paradise, Mercy meets Ryan, whose sister was kidnapped two years ago and is now presumed dead. When another girl disappears, Mercy and Ryan know they must act before time runs out. But a host of angels are out for Mercy's blood and they won't rest until they find her and punish her... for a crime she doesn't remember committing.

I found this book's conclusion more interesting to read than the parts in between. Perhaps the beginning was made to be more confusing to readers to symbolically represent the confusion Mercy must have been feeling at the start of the book. She woke up in another body, of a different girl, so the whole idea behind this is confusing enough. But as the story drags on more comes to light, and Mercy is thrown into a lot of complicated situations she tries to unravel. A very captivating piece of mystery and fiction, the first book to a (hopefully) interesting series is started off with a steady incline. May detective-like, or any, readers enjoy!

I really liked this book. The idea is outside-the-box style and their weren't any loop-holes (That I saw, anyway). Great characters and I loved the plot-line. definately reading the next book. :)

I think this book is completley different, and I am definitely going to read the next one, and the next one after that. It's also a mystery as well, so if you're into that sort of stuff, you can try and work out the creepy guy......

HAPPY READING!!!!!

this book was defiantly different. The whole concept was different from any paranormal books I've read. there were many things i didnt understand. The book doesnt mention shes an angel (or at least i somehow missed that part) and i still dont know who the eight (i think thats what it was) are and the conflict of her earning her way into heaven (also not mentions unless i missed it) was never resolved. This book is confusing, but good none-the-less. The caracter of carmen was kinda hard to relate to, but overall a decent book. It kept me reading to the extent that i finished it in a few hours. Not bad :)
