Love the way that the story includes some Incan history.

In the second book of the Gatekeepers series, Matt travels to Peru and meets another gatekeeper. It's full of nail-biting action, evil villains, a traitor amongst The Nexus, and all kinds of traveling. There's even Incan history and lore, the mystery of the Nazca Lines, and satellite technology. OK, there's no sword fights, but Pedro and others use slingshots and other "simple" weapons to deadly effect.

I couldn't put the book down after reading about a quarter of it. It got a little boring near the end but quickly picked up the pace by the end. I'm checking out the 3rd one ASAP.

Better from the first one, but not the best I've read. Disappointed that there is almost a non-existent strong female character. Hopefully it gets better.

Raven's Gate was awesome but this was just close to being awesome. it was heart stopping but not like the first one.

this one is not as good as the first one. the story line fades a little.

The first book was legendary. the second failed to catch my attention as much. Still, I am looking forward to reading the third book.
