Wiggs is a very talented writer and I enjoy her novels very much. This one, however, was a bit off the rails. First of all, Daisy is in early early twenties and she sounds like she's 60 years old and this is before all the nasty stuff happens. I found some parts endearing (like the support groups for military family; she does a very credible job in that area), but some parts are a little too far fetched (I won't spoil it) but you'll get the gist of it as you move along.
